![]() ![]() After all, Kontakt must KNOW where the NKI file is that it loaded, but I cannot see a reference to this in the loaded instrument anywhere. Now I know that I could simply load up all the “String Ensemble” NKIs and compare with the original, but I was hoping for a more logical answer. But how do I know which NKI has been loaded? I have several NKIs on my disc called “String Ensemble” my problem is how do I find out which one was loaded by Kontakt when I opened this song. Open the Preferences and set the Download and Content location for your library: In the bottom left of Native Access, click Add Serial and enter your serial number: Open the Kontakt tab and find your library. Please note that this video is only for users of KONTAKT 5.6. Third-party libraries that come with a serial number must first be activated in Native Access. What I want to do is replace this track with a Kontakt 4 instance and reload the same NKI. About In this video we will show you how to add a KONTAKT Library to the KONTAKT 5 browser using the Add Library feature. I have loaded an older Logic project that contains a Kontakt 3 track with a single NKI called “String Ensemble”. ![]() ![]() I have a separate internal disc on which I store all my sample libraries (including the libraries that came with Kontakt 3 and 4, but many others from EastWest, Zero-G, Tonehammer, Project SAM etc.). I’m sorry but I don’t think I’m explaining myself very well. ![]()
